Staff Coordinator Guidelines & Duties
Overview
The Staff Coordinator Department is responsible for the oversight, accountability, development, and evaluation of staff members within Praxis Roleplay. Staff Coordinators serve as supervisors of the staff team, ensuring that staff members remain active, professional, knowledgeable, and compliant with all server and staff policies.
The department is responsible for monitoring staff performance, investigating complaints, issuing disciplinary action when appropriate, and helping staff members grow within the community.
The goal of the Staff Coordinator Department is not simply to punish poor performance, but to identify issues, correct them, and help build a stronger and more professional staff team.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Staff Coordinator position, an individual must:
Hold the rank of Admin or higher.
Be in good standing within the community.
Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and maturity.
Have a strong understanding of server and staff policies.
Be capable of remaining fair, unbiased, and objective when evaluating staff members.
Department Structure
The Staff Coordinator Department consists of three positions:
Staff Coordinator
Responsible for supervising staff members assigned beneath them, conducting evaluations, monitoring activity, and handling disciplinary matters.
Assistant Head Staff Coordinator (Mgmt. Rank)
Responsible for assisting with the management of the Staff Coordinator Department.
Duties include:
Assisting with coordinator assignments.
Reviewing investigations and disciplinary actions.
Assisting with coordinator training.
Monitoring Staff Coordinator performance.
Providing guidance to Staff Coordinators.
Reviewing promotion recommendations.
Head Staff Coordinator (Mgmt. Rank)
The Head Staff Coordinator is the director of the Staff Coordinators.
Responsibilities include:
Managing all Staff Coordinators.
Overseeing staff operations.
Ensuring consistency in investigations and disciplinary actions.
Assigning coordinator responsibilities.
Reviewing promotion recommendations.
Acting as the primary liaison between Staff Coordinators and Management.
The Head Staff Coordinator may overturn or modify coordinator decisions when necessary.
Authority & Disciplinary Powers
Staff Coordinators may only supervise staff members beneath their rank.
Disciplinary authority is determined by rank proximity.

Staff Coordinator Exception
If a staff member is also a Staff Coordinator, disciplinary matters may not be handled by another coordinator.
Any disciplinary action involving a Staff Coordinator must be reviewed and handled by the Management team or higher.
Primary Responsibilities
Staff Monitoring
Staff Coordinators are expected to actively monitor staff members both in-game and within Discord.
Monitoring includes:
Observing report handling.
Reviewing administrative actions.
Ensuring staff remain active.
Monitoring professionalism.
Verifying staff are enforcing the rules correctly.
Reviewing player interactions.
Identifying any Staff misconduct or abuse of permissions.
Monitoring should be conducted regularly and proactively rather than only when complaints arise.
Staff Investigations
Staff Coordinators are responsible for investigating reports submitted against staff members.
Investigations may involve:
Reviewing evidence.
Interviewing involved members.
Reviewing staff logs.
Observing staff behavior.
Collecting statements.
Reviewing disciplinary history.
All investigations must remain impartial and based on available evidence.
Personal relationships, friendships, or disagreements may not influence the outcome of an investigation. If you need to, you can hand off the investigation to another coordinator.
Staff Evaluations
Staff Coordinators should regularly evaluate staff performance based on:
Activity
Professionalism
Rule knowledge
Community interactions
Communication skills
Administrative decision making (Punishments)
Evaluations should focus on identifying strengths and areas for improvement.
Staff Development
A major responsibility of Staff Coordinators is developing staff members into stronger team members.
Responsibilities include:
Helping & Assisting struggling staff members.
Providing feedback.
Assisting with training. (If needed)
Helping newer staff understand expectations.
Identifying future leaders within the staff team.
The objective should always be improvement before punishment whenever reasonable.
Promotion Recommendations
Staff Coordinators may recommend staff members for promotion.
Recommendations should be based on:
Consistent activity.
Positive attitude.
Leadership qualities.
Professionalism.
Knowledge of rules and procedures.
Quality of report handling.
Recommendations should always be supported by documented observations.
Documentation
Staff Coordinators are expected to maintain accurate records of:
Warnings
Strikes
Demotions
Terminations
Evaluations
Investigations
Promotion recommendations
We need consistency and accountability across the entire staff team.
Expectations
Staff Coordinators are expected to:
Remain professional at all times.
Lead by example.
Remain unbiased and objective.
Be active within PraxisRP.
Handle investigations fairly.
Maintain confidentiality.
Follow all server and staff policies/rules.
Treat all staff members with respect.
Prohibited Actions
Staff Coordinators may not:
Abuse their authority.
Show favoritism.
Issue discipline outside their authorized scope.
Ignore legitimate complaints.
Share confidential information.
Falsify investigations or documentation.
Retaliate against staff members.
Allow personal relationships to influence decisions.
